Just like the wine that benefits from the unique conditions at Quinta de Ventozelo, the terroir is ideal for producing a smooth and exceptional olive oil that is sweet like all the fruit from the Douro Valley. In our centenarian olive groves, planted beside our vines, the olives are harvested by beating the trees with poles, as tradition dictates. The olive oil they produce is the essence of the history, tradition and flavours of the Douro.
Varieties

Indigenous olive varieties, predominantly Verdeal.

Tasting notes

Fruity, mature, with a very balanced spiciness and bitterness and an excellent finish in the mouth. The elegance and complexity of this olive oil offer a unique experience.

How best to enjoy:

As an aperitif with bread, or as an accompaniment with salads, fish or even meat dishes, adding a creamy consistency and unmistakable aromatic tang.
