2014 grape harvest and re-beginning

2014 was a year not only of great wines but above all a major turning point. This was the year Quinta de Ventozelo was acquired by Gran Cruz and in-depth work began to explore the estate’s infinite potential. A cool and clean year with a very damp winter and spring leading to early maturation. September was the wettest of the last 80 years, which led to large differences between plots harvested before and after the rains.
