It is the result of a research project with the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar and a partnership with Cantinho das Aromáticas, who helped us to recognise the incredible scents that exist around the farm and how to bottle them. The final botanical blend was macerated in vinous alcohol obtained from distilling Quinta de Ventozelo’s wines.
Added to the characteristic scents of the forest, garden and orchard is the vinous aroma of the wine spirit that runs through the taste of this gin, giving it a characteristic smooth and persistent quality. An excellent combination of the fresh and citrusy notes of lemon peel, mint, coriander leaves and lemon thyme with the scents of forest, juniper, lavender, Mediterranean wild thyme and globe amaranth.
How best to enjoy
To maintain the purity of its aromas, this gin should be served with non-aromatic tonic water, ice and three juniper berries. Finally, decorate the glass with a grape or olive.
