At Quinta de Ventozelo, every grape variety has a history. The Tinto Cão variety represents 5% of the 200 hectares of vineyards at Quinta de Ventozelo. One of the characteristics of this variety is its great resistance to very high temperatures, diseases and rot. Despite its low productivity, Tinto Cão expresses great quality in Ventozelo, which confirms the diversity of the terroir of this Quinta.

Tasting notes
A bright ruby-coloured wine with a fresh fruit aroma and floral notes. on the palate, the freshness from the nose reemerges, wrapped in silky tannins, leading to a finish of great elegance and balance.
How best to enjoy
It is a versatile wine, which pairs with light meat dishes, comfort food or simple vegetarian dishes. Should be consumed at a temperature of between 16ºC to 18ºC.
