Tasting notes
A deep ruby colour, typical of wines made from the Sousão grape variety. An intense aroma of ripe wild and red fruits, particularly blueberries and blackberries, with hints of mint and herbaceous notes in the background. On the palate, it displays a very fresh and structured character. The finish is persistent, with fresh fruit taking centre stage.
How best to enjoy:
It is a gastronomic wine, mainly due to its freshness. Pairs perfectly with strong and rich texture dishes, especially of traditional Portuguese cuisine, such as lamprey, “sarrabulho” (pork blood stew) and grilled sardines.
