Syrah Unoaked

At Quinta de Ventozelo, every grape variety has a history. Syrah is all about surprise – revealing an unexpected personality for a variety that is not indigenous to the Douro region. To enhance its fruity and wild exuberance, we bottled it the very next year after harvesting. The result is this young Syrah Unoaked, a force of nature with plenty to say.

A beautiful ruby colour with intense aromas of jam-like red berries and spices. Powerful but very rounded in the mouth, with fine and mature tannins.
